Big Action by Maveston Indians

RandolphvMavstonIndians6.jpg

The Maveston Indians are caught here in a moment of truth, and the photographer is completely unnoticed.  The Randolph runner is coming toward home full tilt from third base, the ball is coming into the Maveston Indians' catcher.  A collision seems imminent.  The action in Randolph, Wisconsin is recorded by the postmark on the card as occurring on July 4, 1911 over a century ago.  I have not heard anything more of the Maveston Indians.  Have you? Please share your comments below or share this blog with your friends on Facebook, Linkedin or Twitter.Looking for the perfect picture for your next project?
