Have you seen any hairy House of David cards?House of David SL6Any collector of baseball real photo postcards will tell you that hairy House of David (HoD) cards are common.  This is not entirely true,  as these examples of photo cards, from Benton Harbor, Michigan where the House of David baseball team hailed from, are scarce. The HoD was a religious colony on the banks of Lake Michigan, and used the barnstorming, hirsute, and quite talented team to publicize their enterprise. The team lasted for decades with many incarnations. The four real photo postcards here are not common, and range over an approximate ten year period, 1925-35.BENTON HARBOR, MICHIGAN - C.1920.
