The Rucker Archive is one of the most extensive personal collections of vintage imagery online. For more than 30 years, Mark Rucker has scoured North America to find and preserve the most beautiful images from our past. With hundreds of thousands of wild and wonderful images from the 1830s to the 1960s to choose from, we license and sell high-quality reproductions for advertising, merchandising, publishing, exhibitions and films.

Images from the Archive have appeared in the New York Times, Sports Illustrated, Vanity Fair, and numerous other publications across America and on HBO. Mark’s is renown for his knowledge of baseball imagery.  He has opened frontiers in baseball visual research going back to the 1850s. But The Rucker Archive is much more than baseball, as an exploration of the site will show.

High-quality reproductions of the Archive’s hundreds of thousands of images are now available for license or reproduction in both digital and hardcopy formats. For image consulting or special requests, please contact us.
