Encounter with Martin Dihigo in Havana’s Tropical Stadium

This photograph of an encounter in Havana’s Tropical Stadium is alive not because of the key figure, Martin Dihigo, who stands toward the rear of the group wearing a straw hat.  No, it is alive because of the exuberant fan who has turned to race toward the camera.  He cannot wait til he gets back home to tell his friends he has shaken hands with El Inmortal, the greatest Cuban ball player of all time.  Dihigo has made a surprise appearance at Tropical Stadium in Havana, and was captured in this snapshot of the event.  Dihigo no doubt caused this kind of stir everywhere he went.
