Hy Myers Home Run

It's October 9th, 1916, in Fenway Park, Boston.  The ball has just left the bat of Brooklyn's Hy Myers, who knew, immediately at that moment, that he had an extra base hit in front of him.  The electricity of the moment can be seen in his body, almost resisting gravity in the visceral, up-lifting thrill the instant provides.  Myers would go on to complete an inside the park home run, the only score his team would make. The game would go fourteen innings, with the Red Sox prevailing 2-1 in the end.  The Sox would dominate this World Series, losing only game three to Wilbert Robinson's Robins.  This precise instant was likely the most exciting for Brooklyn fans in the entire fall classic.
