The Robinsons - Frank and Brooks

TheRobinsons6.jpg

Everyone loved to watch The Robinsons, Frank and Brooks play, especially their managers and teammates.  The hitting and fielding combination these two brought to the Orioles in the late 1960s and early 1970s made the team competitive.  They are standing in Memorial Stadium, which is still standing, still used.  The photographer has used them to great effect, as we see the outfielder and the infielder, the African-American and the Euro-American, one in profile and one straight-on, the slugger and the glove man. It’s beautiful!
