Leaders Lie. . . Cameras Tell The Truth

Unemployed-Demonstrate6.jpg

Leaders lie . . . but cameras tell the truth (this time). Check out the photographers standing on whatever cast iron support they can find, getting shot after shot of the scene before them. They obviously see something worth recording - a huge crowd, a crowd beyond the control of the few uniformed and mounted police present. How many in this protest from the ranks of the unemployed are seen in the street here? They are in Manhattan, fifth avenue it looks like, and the area is filled with bodies for two solid blocks, and probably more. Was this spontaneous or scheduled? A labor action or hungry men fed up?This and hundreds of other significant protests throughout American history have gone largely unreported by media sources, maybe once locally on page six, and then either forgotten or suppressed by our mis-leaders. Often the only documents remaining from such events are the photos shot by these guys on the roofs and railings. Thanks guys.Looking for the perfect picture for your next project?
